Health and Fitness

This subject is always a touchy one. How should I diet? What exercises should I do? I don't have enough time. I eat too much.

I firmly believe that a healthy and balanced diet with regular exercise will keep you looking AMAZING and most of all feeling good.

Recently I myself have been trying to get back into shape. It hasn't been easy especially after my surgery (it was on my spine and will probably be another blog post). I have researched and read a lot of books and internet sites. Most diets promise excellent results but I don't believe you can look good and be happy with what you are eating if you aren't allowed to each sugar, carbs, and "bad" things every once in a while. That is why when I stumbled upon these two girls I fell in love with what they are saying.

They are the Tone it Up girls (you can find them on youtube.com). They have good workouts that are free and they make videos of them. Also, they give you food tips on what is healthy and what is not. I haven't purchased their full diet cookbook/plan yet. I might this summer. But for right now I am loving just their workouts. They make me feel good. And that is what counts.

The real point of this blog post was to explain that a diet that omits a bunch of food or an exercise plan that hurts you constantly every day isn't the way to go. Soon you will fall out of it because your body just can't cope with the stress. Just try to eat healthy (get good nutrients), drink plenty of water, and do exercise that YOU love to do.
